Support SA Youth with a fabulous night of food, dancing and casino games at 5th Annual Chips N Salsa

SAN ANTONIO – Whether you like it mild, medium or hot, throw on your dancing zapatos and colorful party duds for the 5th annual Chips N Salsa, where you can try your luck at the poker tables and show off your sizzling salsa steps, at this official Fiesta event from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the Red Berry Mansion on the Lake, 856 Gembler Road, 78219.

Chips N Salsa gives you the opportunity to be a “high roller” at the poker tables or the “most sizzling” salsa dancer on the floor! Enjoy casino games like blackjack, Texas Hold ‘Em, roulette, craps or hit the slot machines. There will be a salsa-merengue band for your entertainment, as well as salsa lessons and appetizers and drinks from San Antonio’s “Best Chips & Salsa” contest participants including Amorcito’s Mexican Cocina Y Cantina, El Papalote Taco & Grill and Los Cucos Mexican Café. Ticket buyers will also have a chance to win an opportunity to be a candidate for Chips King or Salsa Queen for 2012.

The Red Berry Mansion on the Lake was once the hot spot for some of the most lavish gambling parties in San Antonio. The mansion’s three stories, pool, private lake and history give Chips N Salsa a uniquely old San Antonio twist. All event proceeds benefit children and youth served by SA Youth.

Tickets to the event are $45 in advance and can be purchased online at www.ChipsNSalsaFiesta.com or at any San Antonio H-E-B location. Tickets are $50 on-site. Each ticket provides the holder with admission, food, two drink tickets, entertainment, salsa dancing lessons and $500 in casino chips. Call SA Youth at (210) 223-3131 Ext. 207 for more information.
