Jonathon

As president of the Student Council at SA Youth, Jonathon displays a strong sense of character. His integrity and positive attitude leads him to help younger children at the center, where he attends. Jonathan already is taking a step in the right direction by serving as a student tutor, which he believes is preparing him for his goal of becoming a social worker. His father works for an organization that assists children, and Jonathon hopes to follow in his dad’s footsteps.

Jonathon has a strong interest in history and a fascination about the Civil War. His hobbies include playing basketball and football, and he knows all about being a running back, safety and quarterback.

SA Youth is a place where Jonathon can grow and develop as a well-rounded individual. Prior to his participation in SA Youth, he usually made Cs and Ds. But with the tutoring he receives Jonathon has brought up his grades to Bs and Cs.

The sense of accomplishment that Jonathon has gained has done wonders for his self-esteem and confidence. Still, he realizes how tough it can be as a kid, so he wants to give back to his community by helping others achieve their goals, and instilling in them the same hope that he receives at SA Youth.
