Luis Medina is one of the hardest workers in our Department of Labor program–Youth Build. Back in 2009, Luis was involved in a horrible car accident that left him without both of his legs. He now gets around on a wheelchair, but Luis does not let this hold him back, and has kept persevering through life. He is working rigorously toward attaining his GED meanwhile also working on gaining a Construction Certification through our Youth Build program. He is extremely grateful to SA Youth for everything they have done for him, especially for believing in him and giving him a second chance. Luis is raising three small children and aspires to be a good role model for them, which he most certainly is!
