Meetings last approximately 2 to 2.5 hours each Quarter.The Executive Committee meets during those months when the full Board is not in session.

SAYC seeks dedicated individuals who will devote at least six to eight hours a month performing these functions:
  • developing strategies,
  • providing financial oversight,
  • conducting fund-raising activities,
  • developing policies,
  • promoting the organization in the community,
  • contributing to the Board’s own learning experience and success,
  • and evaluating CEO performance.
  • In addition, each Board member is asked to make a meaningful, personal
    financial contribution to support SAYC’s work with youth.
