Michelle has been involved in education for nearly 16 years as a Principal and Leadership positions, and as an advocate for children, as well as a voice for parents. She is especially passionate about helping underserved children gain access to quality education. Her interest in education sparked while working in Charter Schools; she was confronted with the reality that not every child is granted an equal opportunity to receive a great education due to life challenges. Now, while working at SA Youth and the YouthBuild program, she is increasing educational opportunities for students and choices for parents. Michelle has a degree in Business Management and Accounting. She enjoys working with children and knowing that she is making a difference in their lives. As the Chief of Young Adult Programming Officer, she assists students in what they want and need in life to help them become successful!
